2024: A Year of Progress on Our Journey to Net Zero
As we wrap up 2024, we’re proud to reflect on a year filled with growth, collaboration, and meaningful action. Together, the advertising and marketing industry in New Zealand has taken bold steps to reduce emissions and embrace amore sustainable future.

Charting the Path Ahead:
This year, we introduced our Industry Roadmap—a clear vision for where we aim to take our industry and the initiatives that will help get us there. With tools like AdGreen, ISLA, and Toitū, we’re supporting measurable action toward net-zero goals.

Expanding Our Community:
It’s been inspiring to see more organisations join the movement:

  • 10 new supporters committed to collaborative action.
  • 3 new Industry Association partners brought fresh energy to our mission.

Momentum in Action:
Our Working Groups are the primary mechanism for collaboration, with experts sharing their insights to inform practical steps forward. These groups are having important discussions on key challenges and solutions to decarbonise advertising.

Setting Benchmarks for Success:
We also published the "State of the Industry" report, which provided a valuable snapshot of where we are today. It’s an important step in holding ourselves accountable and identifying opportunities to do even better in the year ahead.


The achievements of 2024 show what’s possible when we come together to tackle shared challenges. But the work doesn’t stop here. As we look toward 2025, we’re committed to continuing the journey toward a net-zero future—and we hope you’ll join us.
